New Jumanji Slot is NetEnt’s Next High Profile Game

Jumanji Slot - NetEntNetEnt has announced that its next big-name branded game will be the Jumanji slot, based on the original 1995 film.

The award-winning provider of digital gaming solutions recently signed an agreement with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to develop the slot. This latest branded game deal of NetEnt’s is in collaboration with Sony Pictures Entertainment.

The new game is likely to be a big hit as the original Jumanji movie built up quite a fan following over the years. Plus, the recent launch of Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle, is also likely to contribute to the upcoming video slots popularity. The film has been hugely successful, generating a global box office total of over $676 million (and counting) since its release in December.

“The original Jumanji movie, which debuted in 1995, remains a moviegoer favourite and continues to demonstrate its cross-generational appeal more than 20 years later! Also, with the recent release of the new film, the Jumanji brand is more popular than ever,” said NetEnt CPO Henrik Fagerlund in a press release announcing the branded games deal.

The Jumanji online slot will roll out across NetEnt casinos later this year

Although no official release date for the slot has been announced, NetEnt revealed in its press release that the Jumanji slot will be launched later in 2018. That said, NetEnt will be showing a sneak peek of the game at its stand during ICE 2018, happening next month in London.

“Being able to secure a deal for another high-profile title showcases the moves we’re making in diversifying our roster of games,” said Fagerlund.

The Jumanji slot will join the other renowned branded games in NetEnt’s portfolio, including popular games like Planet of the Apes, Jimi Hendrix and Guns N’ Roses.
