Playing Blackjack is fairly simple. The rules of online blackjack have a single goal and that is to reach a card total of 21 without busting (passing 21). You are playing against the dealer, any hand higher than the dealer and not busting is considered a win. Other players sitting at the table have no effect over your game or win.

In blackjack rules, the cards are valued as follows:

  • An Ace can count as either 1 or 11, as demonstrated below.
  • The cards from 2 through 9 are valued as indicated.
  • The 10, Jack, Queen, and King are all valued at 10.

Once you place a bet the dealer and you are dealt 2 cards. Your 2 cards are exposed for everyone to see, the dealer has one card face down and one face up.
At this point you must evaluate your next move by deciding whether to hit, stand, double down or split (when 2 cards value are identical).

Your will be dealt a card every hit. You must carefully calculate your hand so you won’t bust 21. If your hand is value is 21 or higher than the dealers, you win.
In blackjack rules, if your hand amounts to more than 21 you have busted. If the dealers hand is higher than yours, you have lost.
