Vietnamese Casino Facility Begins Construction

On April 16, 2007, construction has begun on the Vietnam Casino City facility, considered to be the first ever luxury gaming/resort in the country of Vietnam. The Vietnam Casino City will have 5 Las Vegas type gambling casinos and even a golf course designed and constructed by Greg Norman located in the Southern part of the Vung Tau resort city.

The main group responsible for the construction of the multiphase of the $4 Billion worth casino is the Paul Steelman Design Organization from Las Vegas. The partners of the group are fellow developers Asian Coast Development Limited from Toronto, Canada and the partners Fontainebleau Resort, which is also a U.S. based resort/casino developer.

The grandiose scale of the Vietnam Casino City projects heralds the arrival of the first ever resort/casino facility in Vietnam which is modeled after the casinos that are found on the Las Vegas strip.

The first phase of the project will feature about 1,200 hotel rooms, a 7,200 sq ft casino table games area, 10 different restaurants, an 8 acre swimming area and a 200 acre top-class golf course and casino country club, which is designed by world class golfer, Greg Norman.
