A lot of changes at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino are expected to take place this summer and they involve the casino’s dining offerings. Fantasy Springs officials announced on May 25th, 2010 that some changes are in store for the facility that houses the Players Steakhouse.
In an effort to add more spice to its dining options, Fantasy Springs will be closing down the Players Steakhouse after May 30th, 2010. “Joy” a Chinese noodle house that also serves Korean Barbeque and Vietnamese food, will replace the Steakhouse.
Expected to open to the public this September 2010, the dining establishment’s kitchen will be constructed to accommodate the fast pace of Asian cooking. As Players Steakhouse has become a favorite hangout of locals and tourists alike, diners will still be able to enjoy its most popular dishes at The Bistro.
Fantasy Springs’ customers have been asking for an Asian restaurant for years. Casino officials said that “Joy” will be the answer to that request. It will also be one of the seven restaurants within Fantasy Springs.
The other restaurants are Lique, The Bistro, The Pizza Kitchen, POM, Starbucks Cafe and the Fresh Grill Buffet. The team members of the Players Steakhouse will remain with the Fantasy Springs Resort Casino. The casino is located right off Interstate 10, only minutes from Palm Springs and the International Airport.
