On April 19th, 2008, the state of California will get their newest casino resort facility soon. The Agua Caliente Band of Cahuilla Indian will open the doors of their Agua Caliente Casino Resort and Spa this weekend. The facility will offer a lot for Californians who wishes to relax and unwind. It features a 10,000 square foot conference facility, a 340 room luxury hotel, a 10,500 square foot health spa, a 2,000 seat amphitheatre and a 50,000 square foot swimming pool area. But that space will not include the actual casino facility.
The casino resort is 16 stories high and is located at the Interstate 10. The casino is also placed between the Indian resorts casinos in Indio, to the Morongo Casino facility in Cabazon. Nowadays, Las Vegas style casino resorts facilities are becoming the rage nowadays, not only in the state of California but in other states all over the country.
A lot of states have expanded their gaming offering and the competition is force among the states to attract more customers. The Las Vegas strip in Nevada and the Atlantic City in New Jersey use to rule the gaming market but nowadays, it is becoming more difficult for these two markets to keep their share of gaming profits because a lot of players are choosing to play at gaming facilities closer in their own home.
