The Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel opened their doors to the gaming public on August 28th, 2008 at 8:00 p.m. The $250 million Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel is the newest addition to the Cannery Casino Resorts family and the newest casino facility in the Boulder Highway area.
William Wortman, the co-owner and principal and Cannery Casino Resorts said that the Eastside Cannery is a good addition to the Cannery Casino Resorts and he added that they are happy with the reception of their customers and they are hopeful that the casino property will set a high standard for casinos in the Las Vegas market.
Located in the Boulder Highway area, the Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel showcases a sixteenth story tower of bronze, glass and steel, with a unique saw tooth roofline, making a good impression. Within the brand new tower, there are 307 guest rooms and suites that shows floor to ceiling glass windows giving customers interesting views of the mountains and the lights of the Las Vegas strip. The 450 square foot guest room and furnishing are from the industrial theme of the property but have a 21st century outlook.
On the casino area, customers can enjoy $65,000 square feet of gambling space complete with more than 2,000 slot machines, twenty-six casino table games, a four hundred fifty seat bingo hall, a live keno lounge and others. For convention planners, the Eastside Cannery Casino and Hotel features a twenty thousand square feet of ballroom and meeting space. The main ballroom of the Eastside Cannery Casino is 17,000 square feet and can split into five rooms.
There are also two additional meeting rooms as well as two boardrooms off the main ballroom. The Eastside Cannery also feature a wide array of dining options to fit for a budget conscious customer or for those people that have budget like the succulent prime rib serve at the Carve to the seafood At Casa Cocina.
