Online casino organization sets to help gamblers
An online organization named eCOGRA (eCommerce and Online Gaming Regulation and Assurance) has set its goal to help gamblers chose the best casinos available. eCOGRA is part of a group of independent organizations founded for the benefit of the online gambling community, such as OPA (Online Players Association).
eCOGRA are a profit free, independent online auditing and monitoring organization. They focus on making the internet a friendlier plays for gambling fans and ensure casinos are fighting and preventing problematic gambling and unwanted gambling. They strive to make sure online casinos aren't taking advantage of addicted gamblers or children.
One of the latest programs eCOGRA are promoting is a training program that will help online casinos staff to spot and handle problematic gamblers. As Andrew Beveridge, eCOGRA CEO, has been quoted saying – taking advantage of problem and addictive gamblers and allowing under age gamblers to play is morally wrong. By promoting their seal of compliance, eCOGRA helps online gamblers to choose casinos they can trust. eCOGRA uses an audit panel that consists of independent accounting firms in order to make sure that every casino that features the seal implements all the regulations consistently.
